We cannot stress too strongly the dangers of making a homemade Will. A very substantial number of homemade Wills have resulted in Litigation, which can diminish the assets in the Estate. Every person should seek legal advice before drawing up their Will. The costs of doing so are not substantial and the future savings especially in the area of inheritance tax can be very substantial indeed.
