Debt Collection Fees
We operate a two tier fee arrangement in undefended debt collection cases. The client can either opt to pay:

a) Fixed Fee Structure

District Court cases ( debts up to €6,348.69)
There is a minimum fee of €200 plus VAT plus outlay up to and including Judgment and lodgement of same with the Sheriff. Alternatively, there will be a fee of 10 % of all sums recovered in excess of €2,000. This has the advantage that if the debt is not recovered, fees are limited to €200 plus VAT plus outlay.

Circuit Court cases ( debts up to €38,092.14)
There is a minimum fee of €300 plus VAT plus outlay up to and including Judgment and lodgement of same with the Sheriff. Alternatively, there will be a fee of 10% of all sums recovered between €3,000 and €12,500, 7.5% on al sums between €12,500 and €25,000 and 5 % on all sums between €25,000 and €38,000. This has the advantage that if the debt is not recovered, fees are limited to €300 plus VAT plus outlay.

High Court cases ( debts over €38,092.14)
Fees here will be determined on an individual case by case basis.
